The Return of Scrubs...

last tuesday marked the return of comedy hit Scrubs to the NBC lineup after a six-month hiatus...

NBC exec commented that the delay was mostly due to Zach Braff's filming scedule and other issues, but fans (including myself) were worried that GE was giving the ensemble a subtle "fuckoffyercancelled."

it's odd, though, that they chose to place The Office and My Name is Earl in Scrubs old slot during the first half of the season... it seems like they wanted to keep the geeky/goofy audience that Scrubs had garnered over the past four seasons, though why they didn't just axe Joey at the beginning of the year and put some Will and Grace clone in (or more Fear Factor reruns) instead of losing the potential of a comedy super-night on tuesdays with the return of Scrubs is beyond me.

ah well...

anyone else a fan?

I love the show, but I missed the first episode.

It probably is the best thing on TV.

i guess that means you missed the second episode too... as they aired two in a row last week...

wonder if they're doing the same this week.

I just dont have the time or energy to sit down and watch a show every week. I do enjoy picking up the DVDs though.

I like Scrubs, it's one of the few American comedies that I can really laugh along with. Zach Braff is a very funny actor, although John McGinley as Dr Cox does tend to get all the best lines.

I've seen the first episode of My Name Is Earl and was pretty impressed, although it has a friday night slot over here, so more than likely I will have to catch reruns or pick it up on dvd when it's out. Any fans of the US version of The Office really ought to make the effort to check out the original English version, truly hilarious tv!

oh and i must say the american version of the office is piss poor compared to the original english version. piss poor.

only real comedy things i watch on tv now are futurama, scrubs and the world stands up and suchlike on latenight paramount comedy channels.

Tivo is 5 bucks a month extra if you use Dish Network. Sorry I know all about Centurytel, Alltell. and Valor products. Anyways I think Scrubs should be scrubbed.
