Stress.

Mmkay, any quick thoughts on how to not get stressed and/or how to deal with it?

So far, I've come through a week of exams relatively unscathed. I have another week to go, including the subject I'm really dreading -- Biology -- that I don't understand and really struggle with.

These exams will pretty much determine the rest of my life. The one and only university I want to go to is asking for an A and 2 Bs in these exams (..doing 4 A levels but one they don't accept..) I don't think I'm going to get them.

Particularly if I carry on the way I have been today. Random black outs and frustrated crying.. don't seem to be the way through..

I don't have a back up plan. I've always been a good student, and now I'm really struggling. I cannot cope with stress. Thoughts?

I am in rather similar situation right now, having exams in my university and then having to defend my bachelor's grade work in two weeks. Though i don't have that much stress, because that's my third year allready, but i still have some. Well, listening to nice music generally helps me, but i would like to find out if there are any other good ways of lessening the stress too.

have a glass of wine, or some other mild yet tasty form of alcohol, and go to sleep. Just let your mind rest, that's probably best right now.

..one more exam to go.. I've lived through this far.. doubt I'll get exactly the grades the university wanted, but maybe... maybe they'd accept A, B, C instead...

Relax

Here's a few things to try:

Meditate. Not that whole... find inner peace thing... Just this - before you go to sleep, lay on your bed flat on your back. get completely comfortable. now... concentrate on your legs loosing their feeling... going numb... moving up your body... until it hits your neck... then let it surround your head. Should relax your mind, body, and put you to sleep.
