i've seen all of the children of the corn movie's and sequals. but i haven't really formed an opinion about it. also it's been a long time as well since i've watched those films. you can give it a watch if you want. but....... you might be disapointed.

If it's going to be corny I'm not sure I wanna see it If it's just blood and gore then it would be a waste of my time. (kind of like the first version of Carrie)

hey but because you know about our opinion's on the children of the corn films. it doesn't stop you from wanting to see it. cause people are different from what they like and don't like. who know's you might like it and you might not like it. just see it instead of looking at our opinion's and then judging by our opinion's from not seeing it. i hope that made some sence? but yeah see it. you seem really curious about those movie's anyway and take crack at them.

I probably will end up seeing them; but all but two of SK's films I have not liked. (Rose Red being the first - even though it wasn't made as a film) (The second being something I forgot). So if it's as bad as the rest of them, I wouldn't want to ruin the story for myself

Still undecided, but I was really dissapointed when Desperation aired on tv. I didn't read the book, and was extremly saddened at the quality of the "movie". (Although I loved the begining)

whoa!!!

I fuckin' despise Stephen King (his books) but I enjoy a few of his movies...note, only a FEW.

Those said few being:

Christine
Carrie
Misery
The Shining
Creepshow (worth a laugh...it's got Ed Harris in it!)
Cat's Eye (worth a laugh)
Stand By Me
Shawshank Redemption

i agree and all of those are good. you forgot about silver bullet. i think that stephen king is the only person who can make an excellent werewolf. carrie is my most favorite one and the rest are good. i love both of the creepshow's.

Silver Bullet was meh...had it's laughable moments...but the idea of a werewolf beatin' people up with a baseball bat is just ridiculous!

I love both creepshow's as well....but I couldn't remember if the second one was by SK or not...

I didn't know Children of the Corn was Stephen King! :O

I watched this movie when I was about 13.. and my parents were on holiday. What made it scarey was that after the film, I had to walk my friend half way home, and upon my return, my sister and her friend had taken all my mum's corn fans and stuff off the wall, hidden themselves under some bedsheets and jumped out on me saying 'oooo, I am Malachi'.

I say watch it - even if it's cheese by today's standards, it's still good!

For once, I wish a horror show will not show gore or blood or stuff.
That would be unique.

Even though it's not horror; Hannibal didn't have much blood and gore :/

*giggles* well i agree to that. but still i give him a compliment on how he created werewolves. they don't look all cheap and animated. they look more realistic. more believable.
