Is it against forum policy to link .Torr files?

I mean technically I am simply pointing to a file hosted on another site - I dont see how that could be illegal. if that person should choose to follow the link and then download the file that doesnt seem to be my (or darkoforums) liability.

I could see why hosting the .tor file here on darkforum would be against forum policy - but I dont see how pointing a link to another site who is hosting the tor file would be a problem.

I wouldn't suggest it, if it turns out the file is infected it's gonna look bad on you and i'm sure no one wants that.

True that, isn't there a way to p2p link up with specific people using bittorrent? Anyways linking someone up with a torrent seems pretty minimally spammish compared to the shit we deal with everyday right?! Buy shoes, shoes this, gay sex that, I mean I doubt it will cause an upheaval or anything.
