pandora.com (music 2.0)

So I found this website called Pandora.com - its an online radio station website.

Basically you sign up and put in the name of your favorite band, the website then finds songs by that band and other bands of similar styles. You can vote for each song, positive if you want to hear it more often - or negatively if you didn't care for it and don't want to hear it again. Each time you vote, it adds it to a database and remembers your taste in music for future broadcasts - the more you use it the more personalized your radio station will be.

For example: my favorite band is Tool

this was the first set of music that I got in my list
Tool - Aenema
RATM - Down Rodeo
SOAD - Toxicity
A Perfect Circle - Magdalena
Tool - Jimmy
Soundgarden - Outshined

I generally wont plug someone else's website but this is so far the best online radio station I have ever seen. - check it out.

I posted something about that a little while ago. I really like Pandora but sometimes it plays really random stuff.

Yeah, it will do some random stuff, but then you thumbs-down it and it'll adjust based on what you thumbs-down.
