Why Moving To Maine As A Child Wasn't Hard For Me

I'm originally from Rhode Island, United States.

However, when I was 11 years old, my parents decided that we were going to move to Maine, United States.

Moving from one state to another can be hard for many children.

But was it difficult for me?

Actually, no.

The thing was, when my parents made the decision that we were going to move, they made out like Maine was so much better than Rhode Island. They constantly talked to me about how just about everything in Maine was better.

And you know what? It worked! After listening to my parents for a while, they had me convinced that moving to Maine was a great idea, and that I'd never miss Rhode Island.

Thus, by doing so, when we finally did relocate to Maine, it made the transition for me a whole lot easier.

So if you have kids and you decide to move your family to another region, doing what my mom and dad did with me may very well make the move a lot easier for your children.
