I re-take my full test in a couple of months. I'm getting a VTR firestorm or an SP1 depending on the cash flow situation. I do love the roar of a V-Twin..

I've got a couple of bikes at the mo. An Aprilia Classic 125 and a Vespa 'ET4' for trips to the shop and the commute to work. Due to licence restrictions I can't ride anything over 125cc until I pass my full test..

Did start to ride and I loved it, My first bike a Cagiva 125. Not huge but mine and I loved it. If I can ride again (knee damage not through bike) I have a Yamaha XJR 1200 sp, which is having modifications done to it. Currently in bits ready for frame respray. Failing that when I can I ride pilliion on a yamaha XJR 1300 sp. Nothing beats sitting on a throbbing machine behind a man in leather, well legally and decently that is.

Ah! But I haven't XJR 1300 money, but, if you want to stump up the rest of the dough I'd glady get one and take you for a ride (on the bike, that is).

My ride is a Honda GL1100. What I really want is one of these, only turbo-charged.

...and an incredible piece of macinery to ride. I have had the pleasure of riding a Rocket III that was turbo-charged. At 65 the turbo is pretty well spooled, so when you roll on the throttle the bike will excellerate enough to feel like it's gonna pull right out from under you. In the time it takes to think about how fast your going, the speedo has passed the 100 mph mark.

I've also ridden I small block Boss Hoss and, IMO the Rocket III is the better ride by far. It is better balanced, with a much lower center of gravity, and I think out performs the Hoss.

A turbo on a 2.3 litre bike? Especially a cruiser!

Brian Olson (Turbo Connections) here in Rapid did the turbo on the R III I rode. A stock R III puts out 138.6 ft/lb max torque with max ponies at 119.1. His turbo system boosts it to 214.9ft/lb and 202.8 horse. When your wanna pass, your gonna pass.

The other nice thing about the R II is the almost non-existent torque roll effect, even with the turbo.

A push-bike. I can't be assed with bikes, they're dangerous and take too long in the UK to pass all the tests for.
