Wut do u think about Satanists & why?

From the Satanic sites I`ve read most can be very opinionated but the respect for animals is good. The few that I`ve seen look down on humanity as see children and animals as pure beings.

yeah, i know. they treat others like shit. but thaz the only thing that keeps me from becoming 1. otherwize, u can count me in.

Interesting question. If I had a firm belief in the existance of a "Satan" then I might have and easier time answering this. Let's see here...first of I think there are probably about as many sects/branches of satanists as there are christians. If it serves my memory right, the original term was really solidified somewhere around the era of the Sun King in France. The followers at that time simply practiced excessive drunkenness, sexual exploration, and the use of other substances. Such behavior was derived from enjoyment and because it was contrary to christian teachings (guess they wanted to be a counterculture). Side note - most practitioners were of noble blood or at least well off.

Since then Satanism has blossomed along many different routes, some darker and undoubtedly illegal others just at odds with the thinking of what we could probably call the majority.


So what do I think...well if they aren't to damn serious about being some sort of evil image that they never really live up to; then yeah..they throw great parties and are great in the sack.

Most of them were probably well off, or of noble birth, because it's much easier to be a hedonist if you have the money to do so...

Well I have yet to really look into Satanism, but from what I've seen and heard so far I have no real problems with it.

I'm quite sure the "God Squad" will show up at this thread soon though.
Speaking of, I have never seen or heard any Satinism propaganda; unlike with Christian's.

My best friend was a Satanist, she needed the power and dominance that it offered woman(Satanic Witch). She studied strictly by Anton Levey's words. Once she found peace in her life, she settled for a less aggressive earth based religion. In my earlier years I studied it also, I was not as impressed with it as she was, but the Satanic Witch is a great book for any woman who is lacking confidence in herself and her womanly "magicks". :p.s. my daughter chose the smilies...

I think that the fact that satanists claim to not believ in either God or the Devil and still call themselves "Satanists" is not onyl utter crap, it's downright foolishness. I, by the way, happen to be particularly animistic. So to me, to even give yourself the name of "Satanist" (btw, Hebrew for enemy, as in enemy of God) is ASKING for trouble!

I don't much care are you a satanist or wiccan or smt. but many of my friends are satanists and they're quite friendly (not for blacks and christains but don't care about that)..
