I'm well informed on many topics, dear.

But, I've been known to refute my own arguments and change my stance on a couple of them. After all, as a philosopher, I can't necessarily warrant a 100% to any argument...but, on the other hand, if we warrant 99.999999% as being of the highest possible validity, then aren't we really just giving it a full 100%? So, in some aspects, I'm pretty close-minded.

Plus, have you found ways to refute some of his arguments? That's how philosophy works sometimes. You try to find an answer that will work all the time. However, some things just don't work like that. Sometimes, we're so stuck on our ways that we don't see things through another perception.
i actually have refuted his arguments before... though what he says does seem pretty reasonable most of the time. given my man 666 due props ain't bitchery, man, it respec.

seriously though, i still more or less stand by my thoughts on the subject. rarely do i totally abandon any position of mine, just modify it a little bit to make it better. i try to see the wisdom in what other people say and combine it with the wisdom in what i already think... a lot of the stuff in the essays reminded me of my thoughts (granted, it was written better but hey...) and a lot of it seemed better than what i had. being able to admit shit like that doesn't make me any less of a 'philosopher' lol.

anyways... good times... yeah, maybe desire's just a way of looking back at shit. hell, i'm not thinking half the time, just rationalizing it afterwards. lol
