On the off chance that it doesn't. He is a 77-year-old former CIA operative who was trained by the U.S. Army at Fort Benning in Georgia. He has been trying to violently overthrow Fidel Castro's government for four decades. Three weeks ago he attepted to enter the United States after years of hiding in Central America and the Caribbean, and was arrested. On charges of illegal immigration.
Posada has been connected to the 1976 downing of a civilian airliner that killed 73 passengers - the first act of airline terrorism in the Western hemisphere. He has also been linked to a series of 1997 bombings of hotels, restaurants, and discotheques in Havana that killed an Italian tourist (something he admitted to at one time); as well as a plot to assassinate Castro five years ago. Our even handed goverment plans on deporting him, poor fella.
Our Government had a Canadian Citizen detained for far less for three years.
No double standard, ay?
Oh that's right, Posada is on our side, against Castro, so its different... The difference between Genius and Stupidity is that Genius has its limits.

O.k. Billy explain this one to me: How can, in a 1 year time frame can we go from an all time low in oil prices, to an increase that has not been seen since Vietnam. How, in one year, can we go from one extreme, to the path of being on another? Heres the problem your gonna have with me on the oil prices: I live in a town that is currently going through a second oil boom, which is about to get a lot bigger according to recent surveys. There are still a lot of people living here that were here during the first boom, people who have been working in the oil field for over 30 years, and not just on the rigs, the offices, the refineries, everywhere. They will tell you there was no shortage in the 70s and there isn't one now. What evidence is there supporting this? Well I could always bring up the record profits, but thats kinda like beating a dead horse. No, instead I bring up something else, that does have to do with said profits: A $1.8 billion budget surplus from taxes paid by the oild industry. I have mentioned this in other threads. One might think heavy taxing. Not really, this state is a very oil field friendly state, most of the state represenatives get contributions from people in the oil field. Yet even at a light tax percentage, we still wound up with a huge buget surplus. 2: Last year the vice president got BLM to approve the building of 3200 rigs over the next 50 years, in this state alone. 3200. Damn thats a lot for one state. They want to average 150 rigs a year for the first 5 years. All because of a supposed oil shortage. Now lets see here, who was Dick CEO for before he became vice president....... Oh wait it was Halliburton. Hey aren't the the worlds large manufacturer and supplier of rig equipment, and supplies. I mean the only ones who come close to them is Slumberger........ Hey wait Halliburton owns part of Slumberger. Could this be connected? Hmmm I wonder

I find this statement shocking, even from you. | It is irrelevant because youre trying to use 2500 dead soldiers as a reason for us being less safe, when in fact 2500 dead soldiers are keeping us safe. You sir disgust me.

It works as the center because if we can set up a stable government that is willing to help us out and ally with us it proves that the middle east can change. Thats why its the center, because if we can win there, we cant win against Iran, and if we cant beat them then we cant beat terrorism. In which case I would suggest switching to Islam and Sharia now or else dont take the bus or any subways anymore.

Dont forget we addressed terrorism in the 70s, and 80s and early 90s... we stopped when the Clintonistas took office, ya know bad for ratings and all. Now we are a step behind where we should have been and are playing catch up due to Clintons neglect of the situation.
And Iraq is central to the WoT because we made it thus, better it be there than downtown Manhattan.

lolz KKKlinton had 8 years to do.... well anything.... he didnt. ANd he left a huge mess for Bush 2. Thats really all that happend. I love to see liberals try to pretend it was somehow both thier fault equally though.
We were attacked NUMEROUS times by Al Qaeda and Islamic Terrorists under Clinton who didnt do a single thing in retaliation or... well at all. Wait wait... he did fire some blind cruise missliles and blow up an aspirin factory I beleive during the same day as his Grand Jury Indictment.
It all culimated in a massive attack that killed 3000 Americans on September 11th 2001. Bush inhereted this war, like he did the recession. I am not syaing he is innocent though. Bush could have done more faster, especially with tearing down the walls between the FBI and CIA that Clinton put up. So lets split the blame 85% Clinton 15% Bush Co.
What happend after 9/11 though? Did Bush just give some fancy speeches and cry or did he take the fight ot the terrorists?

You can't say that its mostly clinton, they knew that Bin Laden was planning something, and the later had the intel indicate that he was gonna pull something. By the way, I am not liberal, I hate both sides both are too fucking stupid to find their way out of a paper bag

Oh I can say it was mostly Clinton, because... well it was. You can ignore the rusty squeaking in your tires for a year or two, but eventually youre going to lose you breaks. Same thing.
