I, for one, am completely against this war. It is a war fought for false reasons by a president that we didn't elect. A judge's ruling elected the motherfucker. The whole situation pisses me off. Some people have asked me if I care more about the American people than the Iraqi people...the answer is an easy YES! What fucking country am I in right now? I could care less about what some dictator that WE PUT IN POWER is doing to his people half way around the world. Now, if the president stated his true intentions about oil (as he is from an oil tycoon family and so it comes to no surprise to me that this is his primary objective) I might reconsider my position on the "war." Unfortunately, there are real threats in the world that I think might be a bit more important than Iraq (North Korea to name one).

As to the problems in America's youth, I can only blame our elders. They have created the media that scares people into buying products. They tell us that if we don't buy the pimple cream that the girls aren't going to want to fuck the poor boy, without trying to be black we won't have friends, and that there are tons of perverts waiting to pick us up from the schools and rape and/or molest us. Our elders have also fucked us up physically as well as mentally. All of the drugs that THEY did in the 60's and 70's have created the mental problems such as ADD, ADHD, and a host of others that they can now use to help poison the next generation of children with overperscription.

Teen shootings wouldn't occur if our elders had just helped to create a better world. Instead, they opted to make a more "secure" world for their children (us). Hiding us, overprotecting us, and making the taboo seem desirable. MTV has its own special little contribution, making kids hate themselves because they aren't black, tall, or pretty in some stupid way that was designed by this "MTV world." Now they try and undo some of the damage by promoting antidiscrimination shows and commercials at the same time as promoting racist propaganda like Black History month? How about antismoking commercials back to back with beer commercials? What the fuck is going on here?

Well, perhaps if there were a latino history month, a white history month, an oriental history month, etc. I wouldn't be complaining.

Individuals, you say? The reason that these individuals act this way is because they usually feel that they are left with no choice but to react in the way that they do. They are forced into this thinking by "society" or "the media" by means of scare tactics such as those I have already mentioned. They feel trapped and insecure. What they do is arguably some sort of instinct in most cases.

Of course there are exceptions. There are those who are just messed up in their heads, but I believe, and have stated, that the youth of this nation is mentally handicapped slightly more than they should be as a result of their parents' drug use in the previous decades.

Perhaps your theory about drug use has a few truths to it... yet none that have yet to be proven viable.....

Feeling that you have no choice and actually having no choice are two seperate things..... everyone has a choice.... at least in the US.... if someone is so shallow as to fill themselves full of the shit the media trumpets around well they would have been taken in by most anything anyways.....

Back to the drug use thingie..... we do know that there are some drugs which have consequences when it comes to pregnancy.... such as Crack, cocaine, meth, and such as those..... one of the reasons we have far more problems amongst todays youths is because we have far more of them than ever before..... it is kind of like if you have one black ant amongst a million red ants.... you will barely notice that black ant.... yet if you have 100,000 black ants amongst a million red ants you will defenitely begin to notice.....

There are therapists a plenty available to help with most problems...... if someone chooses to not seek help they are making a choice to be the way they are.... there is always choice involved....

And what the hey..... did you forget Cinco De Mayo or even St.Patricks Day... lol.. maybe not months but surely they are celebrated holidays.... hehe....

You make many good points to counter my arguements. Damn it. But, what I have is not facts, only suggestions...theories.

I can't prove any of what I have said simply because I lack the data, but what I can say is what I have observed. Afterwhich, I have come to the conclusions that I have above stated.

I believe in what I say about our elders and drugs.
I also believe that the U.S. media has been making white males feel bad about themselves for years and I think it should stop.

These are beliefs of mine...my theories. Though maybe not facts as of yet, perhaps someday I will gather the evidence to prove a few of them.

Theories are good.... it shows that you are thinking..... and not blindly following.... we need alot more people to do that.... although even blindly following is a choice.... I just like to make people question thier stance.... and nitpick as you pointed out.....

Firstly;
Black History month is coined to be seen as "Politically correct", and not racist. It was established to TRY and show that wer're no longer racist; and we recognise the history of blacks.

But consider;
White history month WOULD BE RACIST.
It would be seen as being pro-white, and recognising that WHITE history dosent involve or didnt need to involve blacks.

So isnt this hipocrictial then initself ?
A Celebration of white history would be racist.
A Celebration of black history wouldnt be... as apparently we're trying to make up for years of black exploitation and slavery, and hence we now (finally) recognise the history of blacks.

So my thoughts,.. isnt a celebration of "black" history creating segragation and alienating the blacks in this very act itself, by saying: "You are different, you are black". If we wanted to be trully equal, we wouldnt recognise black history as seperate and different... we'd recognise it as "history", as in the same history for white men, black men, brown men etc.

Why does Black history need to be seperate and almost unique in itself - different as positioned to us; from all other, 'white' history ?

It's only right to question the intentions of poor leadership. But perhaps Mr. Bush is right. If he finds those weapons he's looking for, perhaps I'll be more persuaded myself.

I'd be thinking that its a very big "IF", as to IF HE FINDS THE WMD's.
There are none to date, yet the US went to war, claiming their were.... Preemptive War.
Though of course once the war is over, weapons could easily be planted in Iraq, but that would never happen... or would it ?

I hate to see this notion of 'Preemptiveness' extened to the law courts in the US.. a person jailed before the commit a robbery, as its only 'a matter of time' before they did ?!

If this is a war going after "Evil", then how about the 9/11 investigations ? Why wont Bush allow investigations as to the insider trading and links too the Pakistani ISI and the Israeli Mossad Intelligence agencies ?
Or is 9/11 no longer relevant to the 'immediate objective' ?

Actually our court system says you are Innocent until proven guilty..... and yet they hold you in jail during your trial to prove yourself innocent.... as such it is preemptive already.... you are in fact attempting to prove yourself as not guilty and they are readily saying you are guilty even before proof is brought forth.... plus our court system uses blackmail at every oppurtunity by offering plea bargains..... our court system is very fucked up and seriously needs to be revised...
