well i cannot make assumptions on how you gain your knowledge... i can only do that for dictionaries and other referance matterial because they generalize at will and state that which is a common consensus of general knowledge...

Well...first the tree cracks, it's kind of like a long groan and then a loud pop! it then begans it's decent...you rarely have one tree in the forest, so as it tumbles down it crashes into other trees, shattering their braches...more crackles and pops, and finally it impacts with a deafening crash! so it is actually an accumulation of noises and actions that create the sound...if anyone was around to hear, besides the forest creatures who are always around!. It's the same with clapping...you can't clap if you have nothing to impact, so it is the two hands impacting that make the sound:p

Myar. Knowledge... *scratches head and meows* hmmm... I don't think there are facts... unless they have already occurred. Then they are historical facts. Knowledge is only the gathering of data that is purported to always occur, thus must be permanent. But, let's say, you walk out one day and find out your mailbox is blue, instead of its original red. You find that your neighbors fly around with pterodactyl wings. You find that, to your utter amazement and gratitude, your freezer is overflowing with precooked squid. How did these things happen? The point is... it could. Laws, and facts deduced by the scientific method are observed because they have happened-- but will they happen again? Will the sun always be there? Is your mother always going to be your mother? Knowledge is only useful if it can be applied to future and present circumstances, and since life is dynamic and facts can always become last year's unmade theories, only history is concrete. But then again, how concrete is history? Only how we remember it. Knowledge, then, is being conscious of what's going on around us, and applying it to create wisdom.

*pauses* in retrospect, I realize that I don't know what I'm talking about because to babble about knowledge, must have it in the first place. And, since I am only a poor ignorant fucktard, I must be transcending my experience and theoretically posturing.
