Can eternal love exist? My friend and I were discussing it and he said "eternal love can only emerge form a pure heart". I said that nobody's heart was completly pure, and in doing so, we stumped each other. I'd like to hear your opinions on this subject.

He has always been and from Him all love comes. | Actually compared to some god/desses and older religions he has not...but that really has nothing to do with love, but more with belief...love I believe can be eternal...as long as people are able to feel, there will be love, souls meet and are destined to be together...one does not need a "pure heart" to find love, just secure with who they are, and strong enough to sacrafice what is required for a "love" It's rare, but I believe it exists....

Yes, it is very possible, in my opinion,anyway. You see, (here i go into philosophy mode) Bodies are shells,equipped to carry souls (us) into the 3rd dimension, or the physical dimension. Bodies can be remade,manufactured,corrected,trashed,brought back. but you cannot change the soul inside, the soul is unique. Souls are often reincarnated,and thrown into different lives. It very possible, that at the end of ones life, they,and theyre significant other agree they will stay together in the next life,and so on, until they reach the heavens. Although, no one on earth might not have the memory of making the choice, or anything from the previous life, they do encounter the same lover from the other life. And they go on like this, together for eternity. | |

Love has to exist. Whether it be chemical reactions, something our souls carry from life to life, or something we'll never understand, it has to be out there. Can you truly say you don't "love" your parents, or your significant other,or your children? Love is out there, but what it really IS, is debatable.
Love can only be defined if you've felt it, but it can't be defined by words. Only your heart/soul/bodily chemicals can tell you what it is... so ya, I'm done mumbling.
