The only thing America has done wrong in Afghanistan is allowing the Taliban to come to power in the first place. When I hear all these people saying don't bomb Afghanistan it makes me feel sick, the Taliban are vermin, and they needed destroying before September 11th and I'm glad that the U.S has the excuse...would these same people who say stop "the war" have said dont bomb Berlin? they probably would... and the Jews and many other races would be extinct...yet in that war such people would have been called traitors.. is it any different today, are they not traitors to the INNOCENT people who were murdered?

bottom line, bin laden is seen as a "hero" in afghanistan. the whole country is protecting him, and that is why they are being bombed. bin laden is a very educated man, which is pretty fuckin rare in that shit whole over there. and to top it all off, he is a fucking millionaire. which means in this piss poor country, he is "god". he supports alot of the government (another reason why they are hiding/defending him). he needs to be taken out immediately,as well and the fuckin liberalls here in america who cant fuckin see that their rights and their way of life would be in danger if we did nothing. if your gonna be pissed off at someone, be pissed off at clinton for not doing shit when the kamakaze boat hit the uss cole... which was linked back to bin laden. bush has heart, balls, and pride. stand behind him, and stand tall.

Hm...but I was so sure they talked about sending either NATO or UN forces down to Afghanistan during the bombings...I remembered, because I know people in both forces...but that could be mainly an act of solidarity though, not to mention the result of re-electing the first prime minister to send Norway into a war since the Viking Age...

well,i am part of the american public,and i can tell you right that i think our allies are just as important as us.and i consider an atack on the U.K an atack on the U.S.

We cry when the innocent Americans die. We applaud when the innocents living in the country of our enemies die. "Necessary casualties of a war for freedom." Ugh.

The scariest thing I've heard said regarding the Afghanistan controversy was from someone I happen to have spoken with in person. "Nuke them" was his best answer. I asked if he would kill 99 innocents to get at one enemy. He replied yes.

This seems to be the understanding of the US government. Our "great free country" has an enemy, so we will destroy that enemy, regardless of the consequences.
