My birthday was on sept. 11th. It sucked a lot of ass. Nobody celebrated my birthday because my parents were held hostages in the embassy. I was evacuated from my school. By the time i got home it was time to wake up and go to school. I did not see my parents for 3 days. and when they came back they did not talk for 1.

i can see how that would kind of throw a damper on things...

What is really going to "suck" is the fact that for the next couple of years, people are going to commemorate the 'bombings'. You will have to put up with that for a while...I can see how your parents would be upset.

Just to ask; where you whinning about everyone forgeting your birthday? Or just saying it 'sucked'?

Next couple of years?! I guarantee you that it's going to become an international holiday . . . . like 7 December.
