If the Universe has always existed, then it is by definition self-creating. It exists because it exists.

Every molecule has been around since the inception of eternity. So that means that we have been around just as long because we are made up of those self same molecules.

Matter does not just stop being.

Everything is ruled by laws. Sometimes those laws may not be in any way corelating to our logic and yet they exist all the same.

Especially human thought because so often it has nothing to do with instinctual thought. It is why the Egyptians had seperation, ba, ra, and ka.

Ba being the vegetative state of mind. Ra being the animilistic or instinctual state of mind. Ka, finaly, being human higher thought and emotion.

Thought is one of those things that has no rational explanation yet. That does not mean that it is ruled by pure chance though. It still is ruled by laws.

It's a limited agreement- it's perfectly possible, as far as we can tell, that reality has always existed- but it clarifies that in this instance, we still don't escape the existence of divinity/self-causation. As the preceding conversation had been about whether or not everything in the Universe could be rationally explained, I wasn't sure if you were trying to argue one way or another.

We are constantly making inroads on understanding the mechanics of our immediate solar system. It is not idiotic in the least to make the jump to understanding the immediate galaxy or universe.

Meh. Matter cannot be destroyed. When you convert matter potential energies can be released. Thusly you do not destroy matter in order to harvest energy you only convert matter and harvest the energy released due to this conversion.

Energy is only related to matter but matter cannot turn into energy. Energy is within ALL matter either stored as potential energy or within moving matter as kinetic energy. Easily explained this means that energy is the capacity to move or effect change within matter. Energy just as matter though can easily be converted from potential to kinetic.

But your statement is false. Matter is not energy nor is energy matter even though both have a close relationship.
You can however destroy one form of matter, convert it if you will, to another form and harvest the potential energy that is released as kinetic energy. Like when you boil water to produce steam in order to add propulsion to a train.

When matter is converted to energy that energy is released due to a catalyst. That energy is not created it is released. If you started with 1 oz. of matter you would end up with 1 oz. afterwards. As such the matter is not destroyed.
