If you think about sex only as a procreation, it should be after marriage. But pure sex for pleasure - not.

Personally I think you need to clarify a few things:

Well, unless you're a complete dimwit, i think people will know i meant the Christian God. Then again...it isn't just Christians that save sex for marriage so everyone's opinon would be very interesting.

I'm not a Christian but they see it as a sin.

Children should grow up with both parents. I think that marriage is necessary to keep the family together.

Sex before marriage is perfectly acceptable to me, it really comes down to a choice individual level. I think that it turns into a big guilt complex for a lot of people. We torture ourselves needlessly over this issue.

Of course I'm not Christian, and I don't get that viewpoint.

I don't think it isn't wrong as long as whoever is doing it is responsible and knows the possible consequences.

I don't believe it has anything to do with religious beliefs. We are mammals and it is our instinct to have sex. It never was a gift. It's always been our right.

I am not married. My girlfriend and I make love regularly... We've taken precautions, we still know the possible consequences, and we're going to be responsible for what we do if anything happens. We love each other and that's all that matters.

Sex before marriage is something personal and what anyone's opinion of it is personal, and nothing more. If you think it's wrong... Well, good for you; you can wait.

It's very hard to decide whether sex before marriage is good or not.
Sex after marriage can bring of course lot of disappointment. On the other hand, saying about sex before marriage: "try before you buy" is loathful.

According to some heavy long-term researching they've found that over half of the people who have sex before marriage break up before marriage even occurs.

While they also found that a lot of people who have had sex before marriage and gotten married rarely divorced.

I don't hate him, he doesn't hate me, and until I die and see whatever deity is my bossman I'm going to follow my hearts desire. If they want me to do something else they can give me a sign(like a loud voice bitching at me while others can also hear it so I know I'm not crazy).

I think it is, but I also think it's a personal choice. But I really think that sex has become kind of meaningless to a lot of people, and that it shouldn't be.

When I was a Christian I believed that sex outside of marriage was a sin, if it hurt someone. Then again, that book is so contradictory anyway, it can fit whatever mood you happen to be in, IMO.

Seeing as I'm not really a Christian anymore, I'd say it doesn't really matter.

It's not for me to say what's right for someone else but for me I don't see the point in waiting till marriage. I'm not going to ever have a one night stand or anything. I have the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with and yeah I have sex with him every time I get the chance but we are careful with using protection and me taking pills. I'm not Christian at all so the whole marriage thing is just a contract to sign to make it legal. When it comes to me and my fiance we already consider ourselves married so I don't see the point in buying into all that. It's not wrong for me but if it's wrong for you woop-a-de-do sucks to be you. :yoink:
