I don't really proclaim myself as a liberal...nor a democrat or republican. I just consider myself, but I do tend to lean towards the left-side. And no matter what political party is in charge, there's always going to be debates...but you have to admit that Bush's presidency is going to be one for the record books (I mean, the man was egged on his way to the White House in 2000...when the fuck has such a blatant disregard for the presidency ever been that extreme?) Bin Laden has nothing to do with this death sentence. Sadaam is being punished for his crimes against the Iraqi people. He wasn't tried by Americans. He wasn't convicted by Americans. His court of appeals isn't American. He won't be executed by Americans. Our problems with terrorism have next to nothing to do with this verdict.

By all rights, this man should and WILL die.

Oh, I know...I have aboslutely no problem with his sentencing. That's their ordeal over there, and I'm glad that they have this chance to do something about it. But still, the reason he is going to swing on the gallow is because we caught him (for them).

I know Bin Laden has nothing to do with his sentencing (nor had anything to do with Saddam)...but I find it sort of sickening that our president doesn't even give a shit about Bin Laden. And not because I give a shit...but because people of this great nation give a shit.

Saddam isnt being executed by Americans. And Bin Laden while I do want his blood, is not relevant to the war on terror. You democrats need to stop being so intentionally stupid.
