The Queen Mother died today *pauses a moment in respect* so that makes two in about a month. Is it just me or is it suspisious? *Thinks maybe this is in the wrong forum* .....on second thoughts, she was over 100. Ok, so maybe the monachy for Britain isn't the best of things but this is still sad. I'm just wondering what it's going to do to poor Harry and William. Their lives are already worse than a soap storyline!

Eliz marries that old Prince dude.. and they get busy and they have Prince Charles.

And a few minutes after I made that post, I found a complete article about the Queen Mother's passing. Her husband was George VI and the rest is all superfluous royalty that is too hard to keep track of.

i was more upset to hear of dudley moore's death to be honest, the queen mum was 101, she'd had a good long life, what's to be sad about, it was to be expected. i don't see why, just because she was a member of a family that represents an anachronistic and obsolete era of our society, her death is any more important than anyone else's. i'm an anti-monarchist so i don't see them as 'The Royal Family' i just see them as people, and not particularly interesting ones at that, and pretty much ignore them completely because they mean sod all to me - though i did highly dislike princess di.

The Royal Family needs more good looking people. The only good looking person they had was Princess Diana and she was killed in a freak accident. I think the royals discriminate against the good looking people.
