Does anyone know where there is any information on how much the 'War on terror' is costing america? If possible is there any information say how much it costs a week or even a day?
I think that information would be quite suprising to most people.

yep a few years ago then we went to canada to see some relatives.
Its just that america is the economic hub of the world and if america falls it'll be the great depression all over again... maybe even worse now though.

The cost (possible probable or actually spent), on the war on terror is something that I cannot recall ever being mentioned.
Like I've said before though, living in America you get so used to corruption that no perversion really surprises you anymore.
Thats a part of our downfall as well, we don't get pissed off enough because we are so used to it.
You should see it. People just shrug their shoulders and say something like, "Well thats awful." and don't do a goddamn, fucking thing.
I wonder if we were not so desensitized, if the outcome of 9/11 (the war on terrorism being declared), would have been different.
Probably we would not have allowed the electoral college to put bush into office in the first place. But who knows if things would be any better with Gore. But it would also go all the way back through US history, and we would probably be in a better situation.
We have lost any sense of righteous indignation, and the willingness to speak up about the stench of rampent corruption emanating from our leaders. At least the average person has. de vagorum ordine dico vobis iura

My all time favourite slogan.. i need to decorate my folders with some more...
I really like
'America is not a nation it is a brandname' thats a good one.
So hands up... who thinks it'll be bush in 2004? And whos the democrat candidate?

A little more than amendments and tinkerings, for sure, but still, its not enough. Hey, bread is a good time for me...a-woodle-oo-doo, singing bread is a good time for EVERYbody...

The majority of the laws put in effect after independence were slave laws/black codes etc. After all that's said and done it's mostly been drug and substance laws. But yeah, outside of civil liberties there have been few legal advancements in the 200 or so years we've been a country. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Once again people seem to be blaming the symptom for being a sympton, instead of what's causing the disease...it's the people, not a concept! Thanks. Find out exactly what to think, next.

his attitude towards anything american...as if he and the countries he's from are so much greater than america...the media just doesn't have the freedoms around the world as it has here...sure, our president is the antichrist, our government is a clique of rub my back, i'll rub yours, but it's not the fault of the people living here...it just seems some are unable to distignuish the difference between the heart of america and the government.
