Took place pre-1930s. womens lib, feminism 1960+ Waste of time that made gender relations in the US very much worse, and gave rise to the reason why SO many men in the US would prefer to go to Europe, Mexico or Asia to find a wife now instead of one from the US who has "the chip".

I mean I dont buy into all of that because I KNOW for a fact that there are a ton of traditional type of girls still left in the US, but finding them amidst the ocean of American Princesses with large asses is tougher than it used to be so I hear.

Institutional racism and sexism have been eliminated. All are equal before the law, which was the whole point of it. If you're talking about eliminating the private thoughts that an individual may have, then don't hold your breath.

Heh. As far as I'm concerned, men can keep holding doors open for me, staring at my butt, and calling me "sweetheart". I don't find it demeaning. I either find it flattering or hilarious, depending on the situation. I plan on taking my husband's last name, and while I'm pro-choice I believe a woman should notify her spouse if she's having an abortion. I believe sexual harassment works both ways. And I'm well aware of my physicial limitations, given my gender.

And I'll be damned if I'm gonna burn one of my bras. They cost too much.
