Well, here I go... my friends all think I am some drugged out tree hugger who hates the government and .... wait ... yep, they are right... but never the less, I find quantum physics to explain everything... sort of my religion. Anyway, I thought maybe I could find a few of you out there who share my affinity for the land of theory.

Lets take Schrodenger's cat for our first discussion. I have my own twist on it. Basically it states that if you had a lead box, a cat, and a poison gas pellet.... put the cat and pellet in the box, sealed it and walked away... would the cat be dead? Most would say yes... but how are we to know unless we place the human constraint of measurement on the cat to see if indeed the feline has met his end. You know, check his pulse so to speak. We cannot do this by meerly looking at a sealed box. So, what if we open the box and the cat is gone? We cannot prove the cat to even be IN the box unless we look.... can we?

My own personal what if on this has to include another theory. Not sure I remember the exact name of it so I will omit untill I find out... hate to be called a dumbass in addition to crazy ...hehe. Anyway, I digress. It is a fact, proven by the scientific community that the cat is made up of cells... cells are made of molecules... molecules of atoms... atoms of subatomic particals. Break this down to its proven elementals and you have a fucking small ass thing not imaginable by most mortal men. These things are unstable... they are solid matter at some moments and energy waves the next. No shit, I am not making this up. We cannot tell which unless the constraint of measurement is applied... so ... and here it comes... what if every subatomic partical in every molecule in every cell in this cat sincronized at the same instan? If it did this in the energy state...would the cat be there? We could not see the cat... how are we to measure it's state of being? OOOOO... and it gets even better..... What if we could harness and control this. Let that soak in a minute..... we could turn our solid form into complete energy. Think of the implications!!! Travel through time, space and even matter!!! I know!!! This is some crazy shit!!! Blew my mind ... and the weed helped some..hehe. Ok, here goes another one.... what if that is what happens to some people accidentally.... or parts of them? Could the sudden release of that much energy be the cause of spontaneous human combustion?..... Think about it!

Anyway, some of you are scratching your heads right now thinking I need a nap and to get myself some help..... but a few of you are going to get it. *shakes my head*.... man, some of you might even be as floored as I was. Let me know, and please share your other ideas and theories on quantum with me.

Very interesting theory, but sadly i fear not possible as altough it is possible for all the sub atomic particles to exist in sync, the chances are so small the state would not last long, much much less than a second. The idea of being able to control it is intresting however

Could you be referring to Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle? What you describe sounds similar.

Ok, while I agree the chances of sync are HIGHLY slim...you have to admit...the whole thing is graspable and who knows... just maybe... in some distant future.... .... .... .... not entirely impossible

And I really don't remember the theory's term, Visagore. I never had a class in physics, no college degree... just going on what I have picked up here and there and adding my own little "and the plot thickens" bits. I know I need to brush up on alot of it... maybe after the website store gets online I will have more time. *eyes brightening*...or I could try to syncronize my energy and have all the time in the world.... j/k... The basic idea running through the whole Quantum theory is that nothing is impossible just varying levels of improbability, so your phase shifting is possible, just highly improbable

You know, you just re-invented the theory that the star-trek transporters are based on. Break matter down into it's specific energy patterns, then re-assemble em. However, since all neurochemical processes are halted in that state, you would not percieve time in that state. All perception relies on processes in the brain, of neurochemical nature...

No, spontaneous combustion is more a process of compression and self-combustion. Sorta like a haypile that is wet and piled to high. Inside, the temperature will rise because of compression... 'Till it ignites self. But travel trough time... Possibly. Trough most matter, certainly. Also, if we can transcieve these patters, you could make an exact replica of yourself. And if we can alter these patterns, you can be anything you want to be.

It is good to see another has realised the probability theory's way of thinking. It is very akin to my own way of thinking... *smiles* Only, I need no weed to induce it.

But seriously, quantum mechanics was one of my pet subjects in college, it wasn't on my course but my logic lecturer got me interested in it.

It is a theory that is part of a greater I have. That reality itself forms a dimension. We percieve the world with our eyes, as 3 dimensional (length, width, height). These everyone see...
The fourth, I percieve as time. All matter exists within, in every point of time. ALL matter exists within ANY point of time.
The next, the fifth... And this will probably be hard to understand, is your reality. All you percieve. Your own world, you live in. It is made up by your thoughts, your choices... ALL time exists within ANY percieved reality.
It is here the probability theory manifests itself. Every assumption, every thought you make. Every choice you think of, spawns it's own reality. It's own "parallel world". Therefor, all choices are true. Yet you can pick only one...

I'm going to let that sink in a moment.... I am not sure, but THAT theory of yours could explain why I think I'm going insane. Truely. I completely agree with you on the "own little world" bit. Man, I live there alllllllllll the time....but, what if you make a choice and for some reason more than one reality exists for it in my world. I will ponder this awhile and get back to you on this one.

It is a form of MPS... When you start to percieve more realities simultaneously, or sequencially...
