I have always wondered just how did men kept that view of women for so long, until these modern 'enlightened' times? Now, I may only be a large feline, but I certainly am female, and if one would notice, that quite a few of animal species have their females bigger than their males... Take the birds of prey, the bald eagles. Am I saying that women should take over? Nah. Just that men need to stop treating us like dirt. Hell, even in the U.S. women are still brought down. I wonder if we'll ever have a woman President in the White House in a couple decades...

i think she was trying to make a point my dear rogue...and it's a good one...there are a lot of guys who do not think like the mainstream, respect women for what they are and those are rare and special men...however a majority of the male population and even some females encourage, thrive and press the separation of the sexes and the inferiority of women...it can be frustrating being judged for a job based on your sex...many of the typically male dominated careers; logging, construction, trucking etc...are still male dominated...and when women work in these positions if they are not a secretary than they are portrayed as large manly women with no feminine qualities...it's not a fault with the males, but the society that raises and encourages that behavior..men are big, stong providers, women are timid creatures needing protection...until society changes this double standard...it will always be....

man of the traditional female jobs are still female (such as midwife, herbalists, seamstresses, waitress, flight attendant, prostitute)... but here again those are just forms of oppresion ARENT THEY?

every midwife ive EVER met said they would be opposed to men entering their field because men dont have the "feel", "knowledge", or "experiance" necessary to placate a birthing mother to be... bullshit, its called an epidural...

and that's why i was specific in my post enough to mention some women also...men can't be blamed alone for women who let them treat them badly...or that prefer to keep the war of the sexes...until such a war is over women will always be seen as inferior, men will have to continue being the toughies and things may never change...
