While kicking back on the couch last night I saw more than one story on the news about anti-war protestors blocking traffic, causing disturbances, and saying they would not move out of the way for even ambulances or fire trucks. That really sounds like they are trying to promote peaceful actions there...

its called sending a message, you know what the "peaceful" protestors did in the 60s during the civil rights movement, no doubt you hated them too.

I saw on the news last night that some protesters sat on the train line in a station in London I think..
Anyway, security couldn't/wouldn't move them and neither could/would the cops.
They eventually moved when some of the passengers got off and explained that if the train didn't move soon that they would be late to a football match

Just goes to show that the old english adage "Football isn't a matter of life and death, it's more important than that" is true

Its funny though how jingoism grips certian small minds in the world and they then think that anyone anti war and pro peace is out to help the commies LOL... its a sad sad world we live in when people so obviously ignorant cannot find facts.

The small minds are found in the "blame America first crowd" that have been supporting petty tyrants like Saddam Hussien.

actually i noticed the less than peaceful ways of expression disagreement about the war, and that i do not agree with. These people are opposing violent actions, with more violence. I can understand the passive resistance, causing issues that are not dangerous to other people...but in the matter of ambulances and firetrucks, them not being able to get to a place they're needed can result in deaths...it makes as much sense as bush's persistance that iraq is a threat to american security...
