It seems that some people here are still having trouble grasping the differences between "Pro Peace" and "Pro Saddam"

When someone says that they would prefer a peaceful method of removing Saddam rather than Bombing; people seem to miss the "peaceful method of REMOVING Saddam" bit.

Pay attention!

When someone says that they believed Hans Blix when he said that he only need months rather than years to complete his work; people seem to miss the "months to COMPLETE his work" bit.

"Pro Peace" does NOT mean "Pro Saddam"..

Not only are the concepts completey different, the words are actually spelt differently and therefore some of you out there who are having difficulty spotting the difference need to only look at the spelling to see that they are not the same, if you are still having difficulty you could always count the letters

I hope this clears this matter up for some people and if you spot someone who hasn't quite grasped it, please do them the courtesy of directing them to this thread

Blix had twelve years...

Many at the UN were just stalling for time, and that was helping Saddam Hussien.

No in fact Blix was that last in a series of inspectors, he came in when the previous inspector was accused (and later proven) of spying.
Blix came in after previous inspectors had established that Iraq had no nuclear weapons, he's a biological and chemical expert, unfortunatley Colin Powell considers himself more of an expert and refuted his reports.

Stalling for time, yes, a few more months to complete the weapons inspections.

Saddam did have 12 years though.

..so what was another few months, or was it just easier to send troops into the danger zone and bomb buildings in civilian residential areas?

I don't think all enlisted people are necessarilly warmongers, Soldier and Warrior are two completely different things.

You can still have respect for the office of president but think he is an idiot, lets face it, almost all of the american presidents who were assasinated were killed by people who called themselves patriots who felt that he was doing a bad job.

i would say in the minority No it doesnt, but lets face it the majority of our military says what thier told to say and think what theyre told to think.

But then the military has a history of loving republicans since republicans are imperialistic by nature. Thats why the military happens to draw out confused or already decidedly conservative people to join and swell its ranks IE Duddy. Youll find that most soldiers come from the south or in the backwoods with far fewer from cities and places of great wealth and education i wonder why that is.

Twelve years of inspections with very little to show for it. Times up, these delaying tactics of Euro-Socialists were just to cover for Saddam. Remember who built that Iraqi nuke plant...

Someone said "whats a few more months". Give it a few more months and they will keep asking for a few more months. Its just a call to maintain the status quo long enough for Saddam to become a nuclear power.

First off, I'll thank you for putting something politely, which some people seem to have a problem doing.
To answer your question, whoever the president is, doesn't bother me. Unlike what some think, I'm not joining the military because Bush is president, or because of any of the current situation. I signed up for the military before any of this started. I have always been a strong supporter of the military, no matter who was president.
