How about if you are the underdog and you're fighting against a much more powerful enemy? What do you call that?

good point. brave? reckless? i guess it all depends on the circumstances-what you're fighting over....sometimes, standing up for yourself can be pretty honorable in and of itself, but it shouldn't be confused with bull-headedness. a lot of people get this mixed up...

well... in my oppinion.. the line is drawn within ourselves... each person has a differant view on honor... but as far as Im concerned.. honor is doing what your heart tells you is the 'right' thing to do.. and doing so despite all odds or consequences.

But does it create an immovable rigidity of belief? When a person picks up the flag of honour it becomes more difficult to be flexible or to change perspective as the situation demands.

I think honor can be heald in ANY situation.. evan if it means simply choosing the lesser of two evils if there is no other option.. there for I truly believe that you do not have to be stubburn or hard headed to be honorable... but you do have to have a sense of wisdom and common sense.
