They said some of them were suspected of being involved in crime. Thing is, if you rounded up any group of people, you'd find some people in there who'd been involved in crimes- like people born on June 29th or ones wearing a pair of jeans.

Hmmm. If they're being held without charge, it's wrong. The reasons for the holdings and charges should be made public. On the other hand, it cannot be described accurately as "racial profiling", as it only targets immigrants, and not all Arabs or Muslims in the US are immigrants.

what concerns me is this week it's muslims, after september 11, i can understand that slightly,(the government failed there, so time to overcompensate) however what will the next group be? If he can successfully do it with one group, what's to stop them from doing it to other active groups?

it shouldn't be right, and from what i remeber from high school government, it's a form of racism...my point is that if they feel they can do it to the muslims, how long before the focus on another group, and what are the chances of it going from those who are american citizens to the american citizens themselve..i'm sure the kkk is loving this idea.
