I love how people bash the media, but endorse whatever sources of it they choose to when they have a bloodlusty opinion about a certain individual in society; solely (or at least mostly) based on the information spread by the media itself.

His appearance and (media) portrayed mental state is disturbing, yes, but so is Marilyn Manson. Lotta people think he's cool...

I love how people will defend somone just based on how much they like their music. It's a funny old world.

Now he will sink into the hell of unproven guilt, just like O.J. Simpson.

Ok - what he did was really unnerving, but what about his past? He was brought up by a bullying father, he was in the limelight from the age of 5 - or before? He has never had the kind of upbringing that 'normal' people have had. I think that has to be taken into consideration. Yes - what he did was wrong (in a western society) but did he really know what was right from wrong? Such a sheltered childhood.


I'm not condoning what the allegations were, I'm just questioning people's opinions.

This whole incident just shows that american justice is made of the same material as those of the europeans.




Don't even compare Marilyn Manson with jackson.

Marilyn Manson looks weird (to my opinion he looks awesome) and wears strange make up and cloths,but that's it.
He still acts like a normal rockstar.


Micheal Jackson owns his own amusement park and zoo,has a pet chimp,admitted to sleep with children,had more 40 plastic surgeries on the face,is a 40 year old man that claims to be Peter Pan and climbs in trees,wears make up to look like a white,has 3 white kids however he's black so on and on.
Weirdness is not stop with that thing.

Jackson is just a freak that belongs in a mental institution.

In either case, I agree with that too. Just to make note: I don't have an opinion whether or not he's guilty or innocent. All I know is that I don't know enough of the case and I certainly don't trust the media to make some sort of judgement that anyone should take as fact.

Syphilis -- in terms of Manson, I wasn't even judging the man's tastes and views and etc. I never said that I was pro or con Manson OR Jackson. I was just making the point that peoples sense of taste shouldn't be made into what formulates an opinion concerning guilt or innocence. I'm personally amazed at the ignorant bias of it all...

I don't think it matters what the court says, those that think he's innocent always have, and many like myself, who did't trust him, still don't.

The jury said there wasn't enough evidence. That in no way tells me he's innocent.

I totally agree - however, I never said I was refering to 'diddling' little kids (yes, wrong in any society). There's the supplying of alcohol and porn to consider also.

That's your opinion, I admint he isn't exactly a stand up guy, but come on, the media and society will blow anything they can out of proportion... and there are only 12 people that know whether or not the not guilty verdict was deserved.

the jury didn't find him guilty of supplying alcohol, and in my opinion that was wrong.. if he owned the house, the he was ultimately responsible to insure that they didn't get any. BUT the porn wasn't a charge - had it been, they said they would have convicted that.

He is( in my opinion ) guilty of several charges that were brought, and several that might not have been...
