Liberals and Democrats Hate Bush
Well, at least that is what they are saying! That isn't surprising to
me since I feel that they also baulk at real leadership. I believe
Bush took the right actions, he took the initiative regardless of
opposition and he is a real leader and it seems to me that the
Democrats can't stand it. All I ever see Democrats do is go with the
flow and please the loudest voice regardless of morals and integrity
(abortion/homosexuality), but I think it takes a real man to do what
is right regardless of the consequences from those who oppose it.
Bush didn't fail at his diplomacy, but in fact he did exactly what he
should have done by revealing to the world the ineffectiveness of the
U.N. There is a larger number of countries that support us in this
than oppose us even with the French opposing it.

So he succeeded at diplomacy?

It also takes a real man to fuck up our country they way he has, and is continuing to do so. Take a look at our enconomy and tell me what good he has done for it. I don't see much leadership, all I see is an abuse of power.

Doing whats right is highly subjective, using as an argument is pretty useless. The support the us is getting isnt based whether or not bush is doing "the right thing", its because of trade and economics those nations have with the us.

We're partially recovered from the Clinton Recession, and would be more so, if not for Democratic obstructionism.

Quite. If you look at the populations of those countries, who are less interested in US handouts and favours, you'll see a different picture. That's even true if you look at western countries with free presses and similar values.

Old Europe's time is past. Its the US that takes center stage in world affairs and I think its what drives alot of them crazy.

The economy was weak a year before Bush won the election. It was the crash of the overinflated dot.com economy as people were throwing money into the novelty of a new technology.

We are starting to turn things around, but recovery is slow. We will do fine as long as Al Qaida does not bring us any more surprises.

Abuse of power? What abuse. The fact that he's not been as intrusive in domestic matters is a big plus, in contrast to Billary that wanted me to become part of their villiage idiot plan.


The economy is strong. Period.

Cycles might be hitting isolated regions in the country, but my bet is that those downturns are temporary anomolies.

Jealousy is indeed a terrible thing, but no one was ever jealous when they were buying you goods and listening to your music. No one was jealous in Gulf War I. Everyone was friends then, remember?

Personally I supported the war, though not the speed with which negotiations were dropped, and our allies with them. Nevertheless, it is still true that the majority of the world didn't support the war.
