nah its just cool that if you really take the time you can see your house.

Plus it is not that great a leap to accept that we went to the moon if we have orbiting satellites.

They were..... i did not mean to insinuate that they had been taken from the moon... lol... you could not get that amount of detail from the moon...

That's not really the issue. Of course we had and have the means to go to the moon, but the only argument by the conspirists that makes me second guess it is the radiation. They argue that people couldn't have gone to the moon and survived because they would have to go outside the Van Allen belts, and lose protection from all the radiation.

Well.. it is possible that it was a hoax. I do believe that the technology that would allow us to go to the moon exists. But back then with the whole compete-wid-da-russians days there would have been a lot of motivation for the government to simply hoax the whole thing.

I know one picture in which the flag looks like its flapping in the wind and conspiracy theorists say oooo theres no wind on the moon... but you can see the wire holding it up... and its there because they wanted the flag to be properly visible.

Also can't people with strong telescopes actually SEE the flag up there?

The Van Allen belts are actually where all the harmful radiation is. It takes about an hour to pass through which is not enough time to cause lethal doses to build up. Also they do have protective shielding.
