I was reading this on the little scrolling ticker at the bottom of the screen this morning while eating breakfast. They're moving scud missles towards their western border, which some of you may remember was what they did right before they launched missles at Israel during the first gulf war. Prime Minister Sharon told Saddam to not even think about it, if they try to mess with Israel they'll get their asses handed to them.

I'm guessing a scud missle will fly somewhere within the next two weeks, if not sooner.

*shrugs* i'm beginning to empathize with the common iraqi...i just want them to get it over with...i'd prefer not to have a full blown war, but i'm tired of all the news about it...bush either accepts the fact he's alone with this whale or stop causing so much world turmoil...just admit he doesn't care about popular opinion, allies or any of the other aspects that america was founded on, all he's concerned with is his might being right.

Sadam`s trying for martyrdom if things go wrong then.

what a better way to rally your believers than to become a martyr, then their war is about defending his ideals and their way of life, rather than just defending "the world's evil dictator"(insert heavy sarcasm)i guess that's the art of war.

If saddam is such a secular person.. why the hell does he care about israel? its a stupid political thing.. and israel can really hand iraqis their ass. Its scary if any other arab countries join in.

He`s trying to link the US and Israel further in the minds of the arab terorist groups.They already blame one or the other for things they have and havent done. Linking the two and promoting the idea that the Gulf War part deux is a holy war against arabs might inable Sadam to get his revenge from beyond the grave.
