or never knowing which one would you choose? I think I would want oknow

I wouldn't want to know, because that inate need to survive would drive me insane, and I would be doing all I could to prevent dying on that day, and then everything would be knocked out of balance, and the poor angel of death would be in quite a bind...and I would want to do that to a dark angel...I love them way too much

I think knowing the exact day you're going to die would be a really bad thing, you would take stupid risks because you would know that you wouldn't die..

Personally, I'm not planning on dying at all, I'm currently exploring other options

I agree with Feroluce. I'd want to know. You'd be temporarily invincible until the date of your death. I'd make a fortune as a bounty hunter, then top it all off by assasinating Bill Gates.

I would not want to know. If I knew the date and year of my death, I would be stressed out for the rest of my life, because I would be afraid of not getting all the things done that I want in my life.

I`d like to know, it would help me live for the moment a little rather than wasting time.

I still stand by my that. It might give me a sense of peace to know it was coming, so long as I got my affairs in order.

i know/will know the exact time of my death.. The closer it gets, the clearer the images become.. I already know the instrument of my demise, and the deaths that will occur at that time..

I don't think you have to know when you're dying to be able to live your life to its fullest. I think knowing would cheapen what you did have left. Regardless of whether it was the inevitable sort of thing where you were absolutely incapable of dying at another time and place or whether it would be the sort of thing where you cheat death, thereby causing some cosmic toilet to overflow, you'd always be constantly aware of that date, and it would overshadow the rest of your entire life. Chances are you wouldn't really be living for the sake of anything except not dying. So I think I'd rather not know.

I think I would like to know.
I would be able to get everything out of the way befor I died.
Also, I think a tomb stone would make a lovley coffee table, well until you got to that point in time.
Plus, I would know how long I have to find another half.
My only down fall would be, I would forget when I was ment to die coz I would have to have a drink and would be knowing I wouldn't be dead in the morning there for would end up being about 30 pints.
But I also think that knowning when you are going to die will mess up the cosmic flow of life and death in a way coz your not ment to know when you are going to die.
But if you think of it like that, wouldn't it throw out a day or two or even a month just to keep you on your toes?

I would hate to have the exact date of death...... it would drive me insane, I'd rather just pop off when my time came without foreknowledge.
I don't think it matters not to me when I go, because we all have to at some point. Whether it be in 10 minutes or 50 years, we all have a time.

people are saying they would take risks and do crazy shit cos they knew they couldn't die until the date of their death but if you found out when you were going to die then started doing crazy stuff who's to say that the date wouldn't change as your lifestyle changed?

or that your date of death wouldn't already be set to reflect the way you started living after you found out your date of death?

the question raises several interesting philosophical questions along the lines of Immanuel Kant's 'cat in a sealed box' theory and the concept of life as a circle (no set beginning and end, everything that happens can affect life to come and life past) and the idea of a preset life...my head hurts.

i wouldn't wanna know when, but how. that way i could go "wait...this isn't how it happens..." and be able to hold my head up and be brave and whatnot....(ie, big fish)
