the problem i have with christians that predict that the end is coming near, is that it seems they're sort of forgetting the part in the bible that mentions only God himself knows when it will end; why step on His toes and use it to frighten others into a gloom and doom belief, using personal judgement to decide who will and will not survive?

in a supporting note; some biblical archeologists believe that soddom and ghommora were destroyed in a similiar manner, perhaps they should have listened to Lot.

how would we decipher a Lot today from all the other doomsday prophets, perhaps they've become an invalid tool of The Lord?

I agree, a lot of Christians are judgmental in their view of the world. I am not attending any church, and do not intend to. I am finding false doctrine in all of them.

This false doctrine is what makes the rest of the world look at them and say, "why do I want to be part of that?"

I only want to share the truth I find, and let others make their own decision.
