Here's a question of existence regarding deism. If God made Existence, the left it alone, God must be outside of Existence, right? So, in the deist belief, does God exist?

A book called Sophie's World is good read if you are interested in philosophy. It's by person called Jostein Gaarder.
I get what Word is on about, its a concept called Sensual Slavery. Its that because the conscious will cannot directly interact with the physical environment everything that happens to us and all that we do is the result of sense stimulation and the workings of our mind. We only 'think' we can see the keys, letters and monitor because our brain sorts all the 'fuzzy' sensory information into neat and tidy concepts. Its also like the idea of the Matrix where if you could feed sensory information directly to the brain, bypassing the physical senses, the mind is still forced to believe that it is existing in a physical world and that it is receiving true interpretations of reality because the brain is being fed information and it doesn't know the difference. Therefore everything doesn't necessarilly actually exist it only sort of exists because the brain tells the conscious mind that it does. The world we know is only the brain's interpretation of the limited incoming sensory information.

Eh. To think, you guys make new threads that do not strike the deeper things but when something comes up that there is no correct or explainable answer to you forget it. I wanted to reply so that this could become active.
SirVLVIC please write more on this subject. I am highly interested in it and greatly appricate it if I had someone to talk to about it. Philosophy is such a wonderful thing now isn't it?
Hoping, and can't wait for a reply.
Light touches day..Day touches night. Dark touches me so hold on tight.
"I have often wondered how it is that every man loves himself more than all the rest of men, but yet sets less value on his own opinion of himself than on the opinion of others.''
Very good question Guy_Person. I would like to know that one myself.

Thanks. Here's a little one i cooked up, respond: The surest evidence that there is no center role in existence is the fact that htere are manyt successful ways to live, new ones being figured out constantly, many paths to take throuhg happiness in life, and so so so many destinations at the end of whatever road you take.
