In this 'religion', the grand high masters go on that ALL religions are right, and all those Gods and Godesses are real...and a few philosophers agree completely with them...
They say that if you believe in a religion; that makes it real.

Let's say that their right....

And since ALL religions say that you will go to Hell or something like it if you don't believe in THEIR God....
And since we can't believe in every single religion all at once...
And since there are THOUSANDS of religions out there....

I was baptised Roman Catholic - but I don't practice it very faithfully. I do know, though, that alot of people tend to separate Catholicism from Christianity. Catholics were actually the first Christians... however, according to Catholic beliefs, there are only 2 things which will cause a soul to 'go to hell' -

One is Atheism - To believe in no higher power at all. The other is Suicide.

oh and being gay... and abortion... and premarital sex... and contraception... and witchcraft... and heresy... and so on and so forth...

Simple. The bible was written about 2 millennia ago by some cultist/poet in the mideast. People are slowly realising it is simply that: A beautiful tale loaded with morals. But it is no holier then Tolkien's LotR. Or Anne Rice's Vampire Trilogy.

Reality is what the mind percieves. It is different for everyone. So the "reality" people refer to when they wish to drag you out of your dreams is their own. Your dreams are real, if you will them to be so...

Originally there were only the ten commmandments...those are actually the only rules ever "stated" by God...everything else was added later depending on what the religious leaders needed at the time...oh and lets not forget the translations...they had an effect on the over all meaning also...

actually... no... im talking about the repenting of sin through giving to the chruch a certain amount of cattle, grain, gold... they were called "indulgences" perhaps short for "indulgences of sin in return for support of god's church"... basically the concept is, if u give to the church, ur sins will be forgiven... it got to be a kindof tax for churchgoers and was one of the reasons for the protestant schism
