How can hate be a product of fear? I don't think that hate is a product of fear. When you hate something you just hate something. So why do people put hate in the fear section?

i think that hate's a product of fear because if you're afraid of something or you don't really understand it you tend to fear it and then hate it because... well idk why...

i hate child molesters... i have no kids and am not a child. i have no reason to fear them. (though im sure someone's going to find an arguement based on social mores, general public safety illusions or whatnot).

hate and fear are two completely different and unrelated things in my head.

I just hate them and I don't have fear behind the hate that I feel for them.

It's like that for me to cause I am really not a person that would hate. But I do have fear alot more then hate. Just like you do.

I don't know that hate is a byproduct of fear. I think that people use the word hate instead of the word fear because some people feel that being fearful is a sign of weakness. If you say you hate something, it sounds tougher than saying you're afraid of something.
