Militia in the Constitution is defined as an army composed of civilians/citizens who are NOT professional soldiers OR part of the regular standing US Army.

It is our constitutional right to create a force or body of civilians as an army in cases of emergency and as such they should be armed and ready at all times.

The scariest part about whoever decides to finally attempt a land invasion of the United States is that they will face the most heavily armed civilian population ANYWHERE!!! Whoever decided to attempt such a ludicrous act would be shot and bombed out of existence.

It ays right of the PEOPLE, not right of the militia. A militia is a group of people with thier own guns and equipment, the reason for the amendment was to say 1. We can form militias because they are vital and 2. all people can own thier own arms so that they can be part of the militia.

O.k. this is where I am gonna nitpick a little. O.k. I am all for the legal right to bear arms, semi-auto, or fully auto. But there are some people who take that a little too far. The part I have a problem with is the possibility of people you really don't want having weapons like that having an easier time aquiring them, because the people who sell them have an easier time aquiring them. I brought up the gun nuts who say that they are a part of a militia, because they give people like Gore and Clinton, and all the other fucks that wanna take away gun rights backing, basically they give the anti-gun assholes ammunition. Yes they may have the right to own those weapons, but they do not have the right to use them against someone who pissed them off, and they use the second amendment to try and justify their ownership of said weapons, and when they decide that they are gonna go apeshit and kill a bunch of people because they were so called "Conspirators" its gonna fuck it up for everyone else. Do I want to own automatic weapons? Yes Why? So that I can mow down any mother fucker stupid enough to invade, or so I can shoot a whole bunch of hole into something as target practice.

I find it interesting that all this bad press that the lobbyists have been running in recent years sites psychotic "Militias" as opposed to referring to them as "Extremest Groups" or such. It's propaganda. They're trying to make "militia" a dirty word, a perversion of what it really means. Something tells me that this will be later brought up, possibly in an "amendment" to the Patriot Act. Its a subversive effort to help facilitate the slow removal of our rights.
