It's extremely disturbing that there is hardly a mention of it in other places. I looked in The Times but all they had was a tiny little paragraph; is her death less tragic or less relevant because she followed what is regarded as a subculture? Would the police search with less vigour and enthusiasm if a goth person was missing or kidnapped rather than a 'mainstream' one?
We need a goth Prime Minister. Now.

The Sun always slants articles concerning subcultures. Remember when the guy in Toronto killed all those people, and he just happened to have a VampireFreaks account, and VF didn't catch it? They wrote the article so slanderously towards "Goths" and VampireFreaks that they got over a thousand letters?
My solution is to quit reading the Sun.
I'm not really one to agree with "Goth kids", in fact most of them infuriate me with their violence and self pity, but that doesn't make these sorts of things right.

I think she means the London Times.
Now let's all be realistic about this. Some of you feel a certain affinity for the girl because she's goth. That's understandable. But bear in mind she was in a violent place. If she wasn't goth, she'd be something else and punished for it. Also bear in mind this is The Sun reporting, not a reliable news source. The same newspaper that looks to sensationalize everything to epic proportions and has titties on page 3. The Sun makes its money off the pain and tragedy of others. Anyone in the UK remembers the fall out of the Hillsborough disaster back in the 80's. The Sun sought to profit off the deaths of innocent people. I'm very sorry the girl died, but it's no less or more sad because she's goth. That should hardly be the focus here.
