do you think god would even speak language such as a human might? i'd always imagined that if there were to be a god or gods, they'd be too [great, pure, whatever] for mere human banter. our sounds and sqwaking is surely too simple and ugly for a god!

same to other spirits i suppose. are we not ignorant that we assume their language is our own? even humans don't speak the same language.

actually a inferiority to gods didn't really surge until christianity, early peoples talked, offered and worshipped their gods directly...i'm sure it helped that most of their gods were ancient heroes who reached that status, rather than some beign that just is...Who made God?

seriously tho i dont think language would be a problem . in magick its intent that counts, so i think they'd get their meanings across. or possibly read the language from our minds...

They don't even have to speak. They can just BLAM something into your head so you know what they want, how they want it, etc.

What really scares me is when people say they "hear the voice of god" and that's why they go out and do crap...like kill, steal, rape, etc.

that's what i'm getting at. they don't need to speak even if they put suggestions into your head, they couldn't even be labled as such because a mental suggestion is human made whereas god is so much greater than that.

i think this is one of the reasons i don't believe in god. but the day i do, that will be a great god. you see, i have a lot of expectations of a god, that's why no god has ever lived up to my expectations. therefore, i've dismissed them all as 'not for me'.
