This is some thing my science teacher told my friends when I was in school. " there is so much evidence to point to all living things came from one cell, that one cell made all we have on this planet......but yet no one knows where that one cell came from."

First of all... the first living cell probably began as a string of protiens and elements which somehow gathered together and became one.... there have been many theories... some of them wild and some of them not so wild.... so as a science teacher he should have said that although we have not found out where the first living cell came from we do have these theories...... as such it is feasable that it became living through a 1 in a million chance..... though even chance is just a name for something we cannot explain.... once we could not explain how humans became the way they are today.... now we have the genetic structure of the DNA mapped and are slowly beginning to understand how it works and why it works....
todays science fiction is tomorrows fact.... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. S.O.D. That is a good way of pointing out that maybe we should try to figure out where we came from before arguing over where we are going. Thoreau, when asked his views on the afterlife, replied "One world at a time". The only tyrant I will accept in this world is the still, small voice inside me. -Ghandi

I'd have to agree. I notice many people spend so much time worrying about the next life that they forget about living in this one. Such a waste... Shadowborn To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

There is some physics law, that says something like.
Matter can not be created nor destroyed. I think.
As for as where did God come from. He is spiritual, not physical. The spirit world created the physical world.
So things like time have no effect on God unless he allowed it.
Humans are full of pride, they think there're so smart. This pride blinds them.
U look at things all over, that man didn't create, like the human body, a whale, the redwood forests, the sun. Man purposely tries to create things, good things. But they can't even come close to creation.
The earth sits at just the right place, at just the right angle. If it didn't, we would be toast, or frozen.
Yet this happened by chance? Something so awesome, that man could only dream of creating, just sitting there.
It screams of a designer, a supreme being. A lamp is not brought to be put under a basket, is it, or under a bed? Is it not brought to be put on the lamstand?
For nothing is hidden, except to revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light. Mark 4:21+24

It screams of a designer, a supreme being. | Either that, or it screams of the laws of probability. In an infinite universe, with an infinite number of outcomes, it stands to reason that all of them would eventually occur at least once. Take your laws of probability, and line them up with the laws of physics. A lamp is not brought to be put under a basket, is it, or under a bed? Is it not brought to be put on the lamstand?
