in my opinion it's tacky, tasteless and unlady like! it requires no thought and in my opinion foul language is used when people lack the mental quickness to find a more appropriate word...words are too amazing to reduce to gutter talk...the only time i use foul language is when i'm playing a trashy whore for my husband, he rather likes dirty talk or if one of my stories calls for it...otherwise i prefer other words...but i've never been fond of foul language.

whoa whoa whoa, in defense of swearing, since i do it quite a bit, it is now a lack of mental quickness to find a more appropriate word, sometimes it is the appropriate word.....besides, there is a difference of those who say fuck off at a time when emotions are involved, and a time when someone such as myself is sitting in a resturaunt and says "that anal raping bitch of a cunt fucked my goddamn dog" while a four year old sits behind me.....i think foul language is just as useful and appropriate as forms of language.....

I love the use of 'foul words' to give emphasis eg. fanfuckintastic, unfuckinbelievable. I must admit, the 'C' word has always made me cringe; I really don't like it at all and do find it derogatory. So I understand your sentiments Jordyn but also find humour in the use thereof. But then I also find the humour in the fact that you find it tacky, tasteless and unlady like unless you're using it while having sex.

what? appropriateness is determined by the company you keep... so people curse like sailors. why not? as long as it makes them and theirs happy. we dont have to like it... but we also dont have to listen.

so are you suggesting that sex is all of the above? Perhaps that's what's wrong with people, romance and sex...too many people let personal hangup interfere with pleasing their partners, i don't like swearing, my husband enjoys it sometimes...it's about being willing to sacrifice yourself a bit for the other person...perhaps if they took that view towards the opposite sex, they'd be more apt to defend the more pleasurable aspects of life, and not focus on the more mudane aspects like slang and poor grammar.

I must admit I find it a bit archaic that a woman has to be considered a whore to enjoy an active, imaginative sex life.

i don't think there's anything archaic about it...a whore is the epitomy of the "taboo woman" the sexy seductress strutting in the dark tempting men, doing what "proper wives" do not...my husband and i have played out the scene several times, right down to fake red nails, big red lips, tight clothing and being payed(that was my favorite part)

but i see nothing wrong with prostitution at all...the term whore has received negative associations through bibical implications...at one point whores and mistresses were a sign of a very successful gentleman...i consider myself lucky that my husband allows me to be all them personas...
