Not caused, nor generated from nothing, created as in transformed into something new.
Energy does not exist independantly...
Please explain what you mean by this.
Meaning in our universe, Energy is generated by something. Caused to be released by something.

The Source, has no definition as such, it is what it is, the Source of the Universe, as such, that is all it can be called.
And to the infinite regress of causes, that is a orobus(sp?)(self eating snake of infinity), so logically speaking, if it is obvious your not going to get any farther with the information you have, it is useless to bang your head against the wall that stands in your way.
