i believe in God, i dont believe in the Bible. REASONS--

1) Do you honestly believe that God spoke so certain men and told them wot to put down in a book?? i dont. i think that the people who said that God told them wot to do and wot not to do are just looking for attention -- they got it.

2) Science has proved otherwise. Theory of Evolution Vs. Theory of Creation. Scopes Trial, a bunch of christians wouldnt let a science teacher teach Darwin's theory of evolution becuase it went against wot the bible taught us. are you fucking kidding me??

i dont think god created man in the manner of creating him in a human form first. science says we evolved from apes. plain and simple. and it says that after aLL of the pretty little animals went into that arc... one problem i have with that story is that, that was placed in just near the beginning of the world is it not? weLL,the same animals werent around in the beginning of the world.

basicaLLy alot of the bible is wrong because of time. science shows that in the beginning of the world... there were dinosaurs. but man was never around to see them, man came after. weLL in the bible, its basicaLLy aLL created at the same time. possible? no.

i believe in the big bang theory. everything just became. did god create it? yes. but did he create it in the way the bible says he did? no. i think not. but hey thats me....

can't argue with you there. Just remember that the bible was written by humans who were ants compared to us giants now in terms of science. They probably recorded things as best as they could explain it. If god appeared to you and explained to you the creation of the universe do you think you could understand enough of it to write it down correctly? The bible contains some good guidelines to live by if you believe in that nonsense of being nice to one another. That is the message one should read from the bible not the halfwit explenation of some crazed prophet that didnt know his neurons&protons from his shoe-horn.

hey man... if a bunch of scientists come and teLL me humans evolved from apes and they have some proof for it, then shit id believe them. they are, after aLL, scientists.

i've seen the proof they have, it doesn't convince me, however i don't accept that one day some supreme beign clapped his hands and we were...It's sorda something in between.

That is the most typical "christian " response I hear as an argument against evolution..... what it shows is improper knowledge of what exactly evolution states.... for your education and illumination it states that man has a common ancestor..... with other mammalian bipeds.... so no dear poorly educated one..... we did not evolve from "monkeys"... that is an impossibility.... though we both have a common ancestor somewhere back when.... that ancestor was niether "monkey" nor human.... I hope that gives you a proper understanding... it is a shame when folks are ignorant of scientific theory because of religious beliefs.... if everyone was like that we would still be riding in carriages and shitting in outhouses.....

You believe in evolution, because that's what scientists tell you? I don't think that makes any more sense than believing in talking snakes. Throughout history the commonly held "truth" has changed. Even the laws of physics have been proven wrong, and today's "science" seems more like mysticism.

The other night I drank three bottles of Vicks 44 and I traveled through time backwards. Explain that with science. As for me, I have resigned myself to the fact that I don't understand a lot of things. But I believe in pain, I believe in love, and I believe in God. And I believe in the Bible too.

id like to point out thet humans and chimpanzee's are chromogenetically different by only one chromosome, theoretically
it is very possible to interbreed between species( although thankfully no_one has tried).

if you dont believe in evolution, kindly explain this away with religion??

Science is based on logic and evidence. The Bible is just an old book of myths and legends. That's why science is more credible.

If some of the laws of physics have been proven wrong, they have been proven wrong using science itself. What's your point? You can't possibly learn anything without ever making mistakes.

No I believe in evolution because it is the logical and most rational ideal for where we come from out there..... science uses rational logic and unending experimentation to propose new trheories all the time... sometimes these new theories provide us with evidence that an old scientific school of thought was wrong.... this is called advancing technology.... it is how we went from the Model A to the advanced engines and autos of today..... todays science may seem like mysticism to you.... that is only becauise you are resigned to be ignoranty of scientific theory..... all you have to do to prove the existence of scientific fact is to turn on your Television at home and give it a good watching.......

I resigned myself to the fact that I don't understand most things...that doesn't mean that I am ignorant of scientific theory. My point with the example was that science is based on empiricism - it is based on perception through the senses, which are fallible. And that is only in its purest form. Most of the time it is based on inference. If I see the television turn on I have proven only that I see the television turn on - not that anyone else sees the television turn on or even that anyone else or the television exists. Science makes the assumption that there must be an explanation for everything which can be understood by the human brain - something which I do not believe to be true. I believe that the human brain, just like the rest of the human body, is limited and often-times makes mistakes.
