Hmm they legalized gay marriages a few years back over there, and then all the polygamists went ape shit and started up the "equal rights" nonsense and all that shit. Now they have had thier practices legalized. Get it? Its a slippery slope. You get one and you get em all.

On a side note all the states in the US that are the most vehemently opposed to gay marriages are the ones with the highest levels of incestuality and beastiality. But they don't get tax benefits so it's alright.

There is direct proof that children can't give consent. There is direct proof that animals can't give consent. That is why those things will not get legalized.

Yea yeah there was direct proof that 3 people couldnt get married and niether could gays too at one point. But as things go we have a way of forgetting and rewritting.

And no taxes arent the only benefit to marriage. Marriage while a legal thing is also a social thing and having the government make it official is like a seal of societys approval. Look up the statistics in countries like Sweden or Denmark, where after gay marriage was legalized heterosexual marriages literally almost ended overnight. Illigitimate childbirth and crime rose from the breakdown of the fmaily structure and now the government has to import violent muslims to combat the negative birth rates. Or pay heterosexuals in handsome tax packages to get hitched and bear kids. Its fucking lame all stemming from 1 decision, to redefine marriage and destroy it as a social institution. Now they got Polygamy. JOY

Gays wanted something there, they got it. Other groups of deviants wanted the same and got it. Its a downward expansion to the bottom of the barrel.

And while many times pot DOES lead to a DESIRE to experiment with newer drugs, it isnt the same analogy. Pot in my case made me want to try other drugs because I liked feeling high, I wondered what other effects other drugs would have had. And since Pot felt safe and was good It bolstered my courage enough to try shit like Acid and Mushrooms.

We can boil it down and say that it lead me to them I guess, but thats not entirely accurate. Because more than likely I would have tried differnt drugs anyway.

Would there be legalized polygamy if they didnt have a gay rights movement and gay marriage in over there? Absolutely not.

Gay marriage perhaps--- it is between two consenting adults and can be compared to a regular heterosexual mariage in that sense. Polygamy cannot be compared to it. Polygamy involves many more than two consenting adults and often leads to incest and pedophilia. For proof of that you just have to look at Southern Utah and northern Arizona.

We know what will happen, you allow one and then you get the whole shebang. The results? A weaker society, more crime, less children being born and ultimately extinction.

Yes you do. Polygamy is the union of 3 or more folks not two. That right there is a huge difference and in no way discrimination. It has also been shown that the overwhelming majority of polygamist relationships tend to promote incest and pedophilia. About 80% of those relationships involved some sort of incest or pedophilia which are not conducive to a healthy relationship. Just on those merits alone polygamy will never see legal support. Regardless of legalized homosexual marriage.

Pointing to another country and saying it will happen here is in no way a sure fire thing. That country also has legalized drug use yet we do not. And even if we did nothing about the percentages or statistics would be the same. The United States has an entirely different demographic.
