You should learn the whole truth before making venemous statements such as that. My Step-father died when I was 13; went blind when I was 11 and became terminally ill when I was 8. As such it was my Mother who had to support me and my brother all by herself as well as pay huge medical bills due to my dad having to have treatments 3 times a week. I was dirt poor because we were supporting my dad for as long as we could.
My mom is now remarried and living in a nice house on 5 acres of land in california. My brother owns his own house as well. As do I.

All of us worked very hard to get what we have. Scoff if you will but the ability to do this is one of the more beautiful sides of this country.

Before you make ridiculous statements which belittle a persons family you should learn the entire story. Elsewise you make yourself out to be somewhat of an ass. I am not saying you are one; because appearances can be decieving.

Oh me too. Motherfuckers. The homeless at least dont usually get welfare and refuse to work. They just gave up on society. Welfare moochers burn me in the worst fucking way. The fact that there are scumbags out there living in a ghetto wearing Tims and buying hooch with my money and scum living in a trailer refusing to work while they get fatter all day and fuck every person with a genitalia in the park just fucking burns me so bad.

Bullshit. capitolism works FINE in China, and they dont import goods from poorer countries. Capitolism is working fine in Russia where they dont import many goods from poorer countries. Same with india and Mexico. Capitolism destroys poverty. Its socialism and communism that makes poverty, that makes people stop working, and when people stop working they rely on the government, and when they rely on the government they are let down and stuf to wallow in despair and filth. Sure the news paints a pretty pathetic picture of how HORRIBLE life is for the poor of the city. But you've never walked down Bourbon Street and had your ass groped by teenage boys who make lewd comments to you, and when you don't respond call you and uptight rich bitch.

Do you know what "projects" are? It's low-income housing, usually government supported. They're purposely built to house those that don't have money. The money they DO have also comes from the government. It's called welfare.

I bet you've never gone to the grocery store after working your ass off at a crappy job, with a budget. And buy off-brand items and only the bare essentials because of that budget. And you end up in line behind someone that gets government assistance, called food stamps. And they're buying the best of everything. The money they have left over they use to buy cigarettes, condoms, and beer.

No, we said poor people who remain poor are so because they are lazy. There is NO EXCUSE for being poor in this country. All you need to do is bust your ass and work hard and you will make a better living for yourself. Look at ANY non-capitoliist country in history and compare it to a capitolist country. Compare the US for example to the old USSR. North Korea to South Korea, Japan to pre-capitiolist China.

They were making a suggestion that those who expect everything on a silver platter are poor because they are too lazy to go out of thier way to get jobs and work hard for a living. I would have to agree with that. There are symptoms of idiocy amongst the greater protion of the population here in the united states that are poor. I was homeless as well once myself and feel no pity for someone who cannot dredge themselves out of a gutter to better themselves.
I was homeless because I was at the time lazy. I did not want a job and expected everything to be handed down to me. That sort of mentality gets you nowhere in a hurry.
