I have to disagree with you on the last part. If I knew it all, I wouldn't keep shut about it. Knowledge is power. All knowledge, all power. Pretty simple equation. I just wouldn't let it all out at once...always have to keep people coming back for more.

Clearwitch, how would you define the entities you can summon forth? Obviously you won't choose the word 'demon'. Spirits perhaps? If so, are they spirits of the dead, or another type of living thing entirely, seperate from the human race? Are you aware of their motivations? Can you communicate with them, and if so to what degree?

Hell, I guess that was more than just 'a' question...

Do you have anything to back up that statement Clearwitch? Apparently Homer - not the one from the Simpsons, but that Greek guy - used the words "demons" and "Gods" practicaly interchangeably. My definition of a demon is: something which exists primarily outside of the physical plane, but I prefer the spelling daemon - "spirit" and "God" are interchangeable, although I usualy view "Gods" as more powerful. Just my deffinition with reference to most of my reading material.

And I realy don't think that Tezcatlipoca (just my personal fav. demon/God) is going to worry about pictures of Jebus, don't know who gave anyone that idea...

And what exactly is wrong with having enerjy come back to you, providing you can controll it. And we all know that no-one would be silly enough to set off something they can't control...

shadow: i call them spirits, not because that necessarily is the right term, but its the easiest. im lazy...lol. they could be dead opeople, though i have yet to meet one outside of my dreams. the ones ive met are another type of life...im not sure what. i guess fairies would be the easiest term, but there are many different kinds, so that wouldnt be absolutely correct either....i need a dictionary, dammit. i know the norwegian word, but that wouldnt mean squat to you, im afraid.
their intententions could be good or bad, just like humans, and its not always that easy to tell them apart. i just go with my gut feeling. and a heavy shield, just in case. *G*


aaaaa: as far as i know, the hebraic word daemon means just that. but the books i have to back it up are norwegian, and as far as i know not translated into english. in case they are, check out the author/demonoligist Karl Milton Hartveit. in the old testament they used the word demon in that context.

LOL its just his middle name. we use his first name, Mikael. we just thought he should have a little from each side, to balance it up. we discarded Lucifer, for obvious reasons. but remember, both damon and damien are common names in both usa and england. daemon is just a little twist of that.

oh well, he ended up as a little damien. ill just pray none of his future classmates ever sees the omen...LOL especially since his sister is named Delia, from omen IV...im sick, i know...
