No, they are not evil in my book, and no they won't always turn on you. It's a very confusing subject. :p They are evil, because the leaders of the Hebrew God say they are, and the hebrew god has lots and lots and lots of followers and a strong base power. (People give a being power, kinda, and the more people you have following, the more power you have? Does that sound right?) That and the followers of the Hebrew god are very skilled at turning people and keeping them there.

And it is my personal belief that the lanugage has power, because we give it power. I don't think that the words themselves are any more power than the words I type right now.

It makes sense that to believe in something can result in an overall occurance due to that belief.

Well, let us say we get EVERYONE in America to believe, truly believe, that there is some sort of a God, and he will prove his existence by generating a volcanic eruption within so and so.

This could then happen. How? Why? What??!?!?!?!?!?!
Yeah..confusing, I know..but let me explain.

Each person has within themself energy. That energy helps to keep the menergized. Also, each person has magnetic/electrical fields surrounding/within. By being able to concentrate that energy/fields on a given task, then that task can be completed, as if by magic. So if enough people concentate on the volcano thing, then it could happen due to the fact that so much energy/magnetic/eletrical crap is being poured into that specific task. Overall, it's the power of the "mind" versus the power of nature.

But..anywho..I just got confused..

But what kind of "powers" does the mind have? Is its power electricial, or is it something else? How can one specifically direct so much energy into a specific task like a volcano erupting without having that energy go elsewhere after it's done? No one truly knows how much energy exactly that they have, and if it was directed, say, at that volcano erupting kind of event, perhaps too much will be directed and the leftovers would be a little destructive.

My point is, just how does the mind uses energy and "power" to do all of what we want it to do? What channels, with what sort of discipline could that be?

I don't really believe in any of this Spirit stuff, but i know enough about Enochian Magick and the lore of Yahweh to safely say that Demons can be considered evil or good. They were guardian spirits originally, but over the years and with the coming of the Yahweh tribe, they became associated with divergent paths of power. Demons/Daemons are lesser "serpent" powers, beneath the likes of the fiery serpents (Serpahim) and the old Wyrm (Satan). They are vastly below Yahweh, himself the universal serpent creator. They would still be considered powerful by human standards, and if real, would be very unpredictable.

I want to know what is Enochian Magick, and what does it have to do in relation to demons and other spirit types?

Perhaps a book or two on it would be extremely helpful.

Enochian Magick is calling on the powers of Angelic beings. Depending on what branch of Occult Christianity you study, they are either loyal guardians and aids to mankind, or unpredictable universal architects.

but on the subject of god. he is nothing more than some one who gathered up alot of power and took over the universe. so there are many demons that are then formed. they evolve into the greater evils. set is a prime example. satan is the evils of the world, but there are so many other gods that are way more evil. i like to see someone summon one of them. i'd love to do a study on a body thats been exposed to that much supernatural energy. call me if your interested.

I don't think it's stupid to try to call forth something potentially lethal. I'd rather risk having a negetive supernatural experience to see evidence of an afterlife than go through life without one, wondering if there's an afterlife or not.

how does summoning a demon proove an afterlife? demons are just conscience energies on this plane. like ghoast, but cooler. i'm wondering what your logic is in that by summoning something you proove and afterlife, cause that would be cool if the logic works right.

I never said it would prove that an afterlife exists, I said it would be evidence to me that it does, due to it having a conscience without a physical form (Like my interpretation of spirits). So if it's possible for a being such as a demon to have a conscience without a physical form, then it makes it seem more possible to me that when I die, I may be able to exist without a physical form. It's evidence that things don't just exist on a flesh and blood level.

I always thought there were, on some levels of existence, that things of spiritual nature, such as demons and angels, to name the obvious, exist.
I don't think I need proof or even evidence to see - most people will freak out, naturally at the sight or knowledge of the proof/evidence.

And I always thought long and hard about this one. Does believing in demons, angels, ghosts, anything of that sort, actually gives them the energy to exist? As in, they are somewhat creations out of our own mental energy?
