What can be done to stop this type of obvious pandering to corporate donors and lobbyists? Both sides of the aisle are guilty.

That actually made me laugh. It's beyond parody. These people have no shame.

That's why I believe they need a new branch of the government which deals with inspecting Congress, the Administration, and the Judicial people, to make sure they aren't conducting actions which are designed to either give them more money, or to help those that they know specifically in order to receive some reward(Ex: Know a monkey breeder, make it so monkey breeder's get a tax break and you get slipped a little money for having that allowed).

Or the police, maybe. Surely corruption, even when so overt, is technically a crime?

I suppose they'd have to arrest half of Congress though. Now that would be funny.

To accuse, identify or prove, a Police Officer, or a Politican, of "Corruption" now labels you an "enemy of the state", and hence a "Terrorist" in Australia.
- as in these changes/adendments slipped through under the disguise of
"combating terrorism".
Obviously, once "labelled" a "terrorist", pretty much similar US style laws apply...
