You know... spring and out with the old in with the new bullshit?

I do it every year around the middle of March. I get rid of all my old crap that I haul around. Do stupid shit like wash the curtains.

It's the one day that I do all those stupid menial chores that I don't think about on a daily basis. Like the aforementioned curtain washing. Cleaning off the top of the fridge. Why does the top of the fridge always get so gross?

Cleaning does seem harder in the winter. I'm usually a pretty clean guy, but if my enviroment is messy, then I'm messy. And I hate it. I'm havin' a get together with some peeps from work here in a few days, and my place is super-trashed. So, I think it's time for some serious pre-spring cleanin'.

i can get a bit obsessive when cleaning. if i do more than one thing, like doing laundry and washing dishes, i'll feel the urge to do other things (vacuum, clean windows, clean the refrigerator...). i don't realize what i'd doing till i'm mopping the ceiling (this has happened on more than one occasion). i'm not a neat person, but i clean often enough that it's not a problem.

i do major clean outs every month or two, so spring cleaning isn't really necessary.

Because the toilet is where you are meant to do your business, not on the fridge. As far as the curtains, don't you buy toilet paper?

I hate you so much.

I start planting Lavender and digitalis in my garden. Then I spend the rest of the year trying to keep my kids away from the digitalis and Conium thats sprouted everywhere. I'm considering just digging all the poisonous plants out my garden all together.

Still, I spent most of yesterday looking for the cornflower I planted last year. Clover killed my garden.

So yeah, thats what I do in the spring.

that is exactly how is it with me. if i am feeling alright then so is my enviroment. if not then not. my room however does need some cleaning up to do and i need to get rid of some crap and put in some new crap and have myself a whole intire different looking room. that is gonna take a lot of work. but it can be done.

i shit in my hands and wipe them all over the walls. glory be to spring.

When you're done that, come decorate my house.

I went to buy a mop b/c I'm sick of the hands & knees thing and I don't want to have my hands on the floor after having mice and spraying insecticide everywhere, but I was overwhelmed by all the options (it's a sponge on a stick!) and decided to be satisfied with just sweeping for a while longer.

I'm getting ready to move, so my spring cleaning consists of finding all my shit around the house and throwing it in boxes. The real cleaning will happen when I finally get a place to live and I wait six months before unpacking and spend another six months finding places for all of my stuff. So hopefully next year when spring comes around I'll actually have something to report.

i think i have become a clean freak. i never used to be this way. maybe i am developing ocd or something
