ok.. I have some beef with you guys.. I am a christian and I am very open to discussion on stuff.. but when you guys say things lik e"christians and open minded.. do you see the contradiction?" what are you doing?? you are being close minded towards all christians.. you think that every christian is a close minded preacher when you don't even give them a chance.. in my family my dad is athiest my mom and I are catholic and my brother is buddhist.. I am very open minded.. asking for open minded christians and then sitting there making fun of us and stereotyping us is very hypocritical.. I would appreciate it if you were open minded towards me and I will be open with you.

I use christians as a catch all word, no different then others referring to all non-christ-based religions as pagans. It is not separating one person from another, just a generaliztion. However it has been "my experience" that most everytime I meet a christ based religin person, they preceed to convert me.
All I say is "I have alternative beliefs" they don't ask me what they are, just tell me why they are wrong.
On the other side(everything has a balance)I have had some very good christian(as in christ based believer) friends, we would have wonderful discussions about religion. She never asked me to "join her faith" we would just play...so no I am not condemnimg all, just generalising...

thats cool hun.. I just hate being generalized like that.. but I agree about most christians being converters.. it gives the rest of us a bad name and I hate it

I don't mean to generalize in a negative way, it's just easier to cover a wider group in conversation...but you haven't tried to convert me, so that's cool too

I like to say I am a witch...more for what it means to me, than what people stereotype them as...I believe in the earth and spirits and divination devices...I follow the keltic patheon and choose to honor their deities...

I don't really classify myself in a religion really.. I mean I am christian.. but my motto is "reject religion embrace god" know what I mean? religion is too corrupted

not in my opinion, I did was not to fond of the craft, I liked the message it gave, but did not like the story...it "glamorized" it in my opinion...

the keltic patheon is based on the gaelic keltic culture, a triple goddess, her consort and a slew of other deities...equal male and female...besides I just really enjoy the culture!

the runes are actually viking, but very good...check out the ogham alphabet, that's the closest they have to the original keltic writing...
